The North Carolina Renewal Project hosted a Candidate Training School aimed at preparing current pastors and ministry leaders (and the next, generation of Christian citizens) to run for public office. Candidate Training School was held on November 17, 2023, in Greensboro, NC.

If you are considering entering the public square, during the 2024 campaign season, it is time to become equipped to be a successful candidate. If you know of people in your congregation that are well-suited to serve in public office, it’s time to let them know how to join you in this community service journey.

Ecclesiastes reminds us how God operates, with the precision, of perfect timing. The campaign season is genuinely upon us. It is time to get started. The call to consider, and to pray about entering the public square by running for the grassroots offices has gone out all over NC. Now it is time to respond to that call.

IT IS TIME TO CONSULT YOUR SPOUSE AND TO SEEK WISE COUNCIL!

The pre-election season is upon us. It’s time to talk these matters over with the people you trust and rely upon the most. The filing deadline is December 4-15, 2023, AND the Candidate Training School is slated for November 17th.

IT IS TIME TO MARK YOUR CALENDAR!

  • ·      December 4-15, 2023: The Filing Deadline for being placed on any NC ballot
  • ·      March 5, 2024, the NC PRIMARY ELECTION
  • ·      November 5, 2024: ELECTION DAY
